I love the idea of having kids team up together to create something beautiful. When I was in elementary school I was elected with some other students to help paint a mural on our cafeteria wall and it was such a fun experience. I feel that this is something that should be done at more schools as it really makes a student feel "part" of their school.

I love how informational this article is and can definitely help educators who are planning to have students help out with a mural. All the steps are listed out nicely to follow.

This reminds me of "the great wall of LA" in the Los Angeles river. I think that having students create murals provides opportunities for team work but it also encourages to create art. It also leaves a mark because they leave their art in a place where they can revisit and be proud of it. It is also easily accessible for parents to look at and be proud of their kids.

I love collaborative work, specially when they are big and out there for all the school to see it. Great article on how to ensure the outcome of the project is positive.
